Carlito has an impressive CV, Carlito arrived in Europe 35 years ago as a polo pony trainer and for 25 years he has managed high goal teams, players and patrons, including Prince Charles. Carlito has worked all over the polo world, Europe, particularly France and the UK, also Palm Beach in the USA, Columbia, Brazil and Argentina.
More recently Carlito has opened his polo stables to encourage grass roots polo, he enjoys nothing more than joining with them in the passion these new polo players have. If you would like to be trained by a great coach who can match you with your ponies so that you feel like one, then come under his experienced wing and REALLY learn to play polo, just like these guys.....

Carlitos polo stables is situated in ancient parkland, it used to be the hunting seat of Prince Arthur the eldest son
of King Henry VII and its rare and interesting name derives from the Old pre 7th Century personal name. "Smeawine"
meaning "sagacious friend" also incorporating the element "-wine", (so its no coincidence that we all
enjoy a glass after polo with our bbq).
Practise chukkas are organised by Carlitos at 7.30pm on Wednesday and Friday evenings to give you enough time to drive out of London.

At the weekends we organise competitive matches culminating
with a prize presentation and Argentine barbeque.

and honesty bar we ask for ideas from our clients on what they would like to see to make each chukka night and weekend, both
competitive and social and then organise it!
