Polo in Berkshire, England
FPC is a newly formed low/medium goal polo club conceived in May 2004. The main aim of the club is to provide a good standard of polo for low/medium goal players in which they can enjoy and improve their game in a friendly environment. The club was granted HPA Provisional Affiliation at the end of April 2005. FPC stands on 60 acres of farmland and is situated near Windsor, Berkshire and is approximately 3 miles from J6 of the M4 and approximately 10 miles from the M25
The facilities at FPC include the following:
Ground No. 1 - This is a brand new pitch purpose built during 2004 (see photos). It is full size, boarded and has 3.8 kms of drainage, it's own bore hole and irrigation system. Ground No. 2 - under construction and will be finished in time for the 2006 Summer Season Ground No. 3 - unboarded - 150 yds X 105 yds Ground No. 4 - stick and ball field (All four pitches above will be fully irrigated for the 2006 Summer Season) 75 Stables and limited grazing Newly built shower and changing facilities including lockers. All Weather Polo Arena - 80 mtrs X 30 mtrs fully boarded, netted and with floodlights (waxed surface) .
